Return Policy

Thank you for supporting Clean The Block. Because many of our products are offered on a pre-order basis and produced in limited batches, our return policy is designed to be clear and fair while protecting the organization from unnecessary loss.

Returns

We accept returns only for eligible items that meet all of the following conditions:

  • The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery
  • The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • The item is returned in its original packaging, if applicable
  • Proof of purchase is provided

To request a return, please contact us at volunteer@cleantheblock.org with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Pre-order items
  • Limited edition or campaign-based merchandise
  • Items marked “final sale”
  • Gift cards
  • Donated or promotional items
  • Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, you must contact us within 5 days of delivery at volunteer@cleantheblock.org with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

If approved, we may offer, at our discretion:

  • A replacement item
  • Store credit
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund

Exchanges

We do not guarantee exchanges due to limited inventory and batch-based fulfillment. If we are able to accommodate an exchange for size or damage-related reasons, we will do so at our discretion.

Refunds

If a return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was incorrect, damaged, or defective.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

Order Cancellations

Because our merchandise is often sold as a pre-order and prepared in monthly production/shipping batches, orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase unless otherwise stated on the product page.

After that point, the order may already be committed for production and cannot be canceled.

Chargebacks

Customers agree to contact us first at volunteer@cleantheblock.org to attempt to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback. Fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity may result in refusal of future service.
